A special thank you to Darrell Bond, Mandel Mullis, and Mike Johnson for getting the cars ready for the race. Also to Andrea Yawn & Susan Price for helping with the “mass chaos” these past few weeks. The little things you have done and the sacrifices you have made for our children may seem to go unnoticed on earth but it will be proclaimed in heaven one day. 252 Basics in November

Children’s News

Our Virtue for the month of November is Cooperation: working together to do more than you can do alone. God can do ANYTHING. There is literally nothing God can’t do. He knows everything and He sees everything and He is powerful enough to make anything happen. Even though God is completely self-sufficient, He doesn’t work alone. From the very beginning, God looked for a way to work with the people He had created to accomplish His plan. God worked with Noah to build the ark that saved both people and animals. God worked with Moses to bring the Israelites out of slavery. And when Jesus stepped onto this planet, He worked with His friends and disciples to share the message of God’s love with the world. Just like God doesn’t work alone, God doesn’t want for us to work alone. God wants for us to work with others. Because COOPERATION is working together to do more than you can do alone. God wants us to seek help from others, and be ready to offer help to others. When we don’t cooperate with others, we will always be limited in what we can accomplish. But we aren’t made to only work with other people. We are also made to cooperate with God. And it’s when we learn how to work with God and others that, in His strength, we can do incredible things.

Our Bottom Line is: with God, we can work together to get His work done.

When we team up with other people and rely on God’s strength, we can do what He asks us to do. Our monthly Memory Verse reminds us of this

principle: “Two people are better than one. They can help each other in everything they do.” Ecclesiastes 4

Children’s Christmas Musical

A Christmas musical for Kids with a Soles4Souls Challenge
It is our prayer that this musical will not only change the lives of the children & youth who help present this fun, heartfelt Christmas Musical, but will challenge and inspire our congregation and community to join with us as we partner with Soles4Souls to collect shoes for people in need throughout the world. May of you may be getting your closets ready for fall and winter. Please consider donating your “gently” used shoes to Sole4Souls. All types of shoes are accepted. Heels, sandals, tennis shoes, flip flops, dress shoes, boots, etc.. Our kick-off date for this awesome ministry opportunity will be December 2nd– December 30th. Be on the look out for more information. We will practice during Children’s Church until the Not A Fan series ends.
Questions? see Tammy Tripp or Donna Tanner.

**Choir News**  Beginning this Sunday Nov. 4th, all children will go straight from Sunday School to the Children’s Church room to insure that we have plenty of time to teach our Bible lesson and work on our Christmas Musical. We will also practice every Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. This is going to be our best musical yet and we cant wait to see how God will use it to draw all of us closer to Him.
